Building Permit Allocation System

This initiative establishes a two year cap on new residential building permits to manage county growth, limiting permits to approximately 500 per year with a phased reduction schedule. The policy includes an amendment for a 0 percent reduction in the first six months, followed by 15 percent in the subsequent six months and 20 percent in the second year.
